Nomination Deadlines

• For the winter semester: March 1
• For the summer semester: October 1

As soon as you have been nominated by your home university, we will email you a link to the online application form.

Check regularly for updates on the latest entry and health regulations. You should apply for a spot in the student dorms now or start looking for a room in a shared apartment.

NOTE: Since only 15 applicants can be admitted per academic semester, a binding offer of admission will be issued only after all interviews have been completed. This offer is valid exclusively upon receipt of the Letter of Acceptance .

Please have the following documents ready, as the online form does not allow you to save your progress.

• Letter of Motivation
  e.g., additional qualifications, experience, motivation for studying in Innsbruck/at the University College of Teacher Education Tyrol, future plans, etc. Language: English (PDF, filename: LastName_FirstName_lom.pdf)
• Photo for student ID:
  (jpeg, jpg, filename: LastName_FirstName_picture.jpg)
• Scan of passport
  (PDF, filename: LastName_FirstName_passport.pdf)
• Scan your insurance card or policy

• Further documents

Please indicate your proficiency in German and English according to the CEFR European language levels.

Applications must be submitted by:

• March 15 (for the winter semester) or
• October 15 (for the summer semester)

After reviewing your application materials, we will contact you once the application deadline has passed. If your application is accepted, we will schedule an online interview.

Upon successful completion of the application process, you will receive an official acceptance or rejection notice regarding your study period at the University College of Teacher Education Tyrol.

Since we can only accept a limited number of exchange students, our selection process is based on several criteria, including the statement of purpose and the interview.
